WHO’S NEWS: Residential brokers on the move

Houlihan Lawrence announced the hiring of Jordie Wilk to its Armonk office.
Wilk has spent the past four years as a top producing realtor within the Westchester marketplace.

In 2016, she was awarded the Five Star Agent Award from Westchester Magazine, which honors the top seven percent of Westchester real estate agents for outstanding client service.
She is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the New York State Association of Realtors, the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors and the Hudson Gateway Multiple Listing Service.
Wilk began her career in public relations, where she worked on national publicity campaigns for leading television networks.
She then enjoyed a successful career as a pharmaceutical representative before becoming a real estate agent.
Wilk joins a team of 52 agents serving the villages of Dobbs Ferry, Hastings-on-Hudson, Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown, as well as the hamlet of Hartsdale in the Town of Greenburgh.

Ideal Properties Group has hired Brittany Nash as a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson.
Nash joins the firm from Florida, where she was the Public Relations Director of Beachy Beach Real Estate.
She will be based in Ideal’s Gowanus office.

BRITTANY NASH

After a career in the dance franchise world, Nash dived back into the family business of real estate in the Florida panhandle, solely with the purpose of brand expansion. She helped her mother, Karen Smith, and partners grow from one office in 2012 to seven, with plans for an eighth currently underway.
As a licensed real estate agent in New York and in Florida, Nash plans to merge the two worlds, leveraging both for mutual benefit.
Real Estate investors and buyers that want to diversify their portfolio or just have a beach getaway home will benefit from her connection to both markets.
Nash was recently recognized as one of The Walton Chamber of Commerce’s 2016 “Young Professionals of the Year” and successfully co-lead one of its “think-tank” groups for years.

Weichert Companies announced that Michael Cadematori has been named the company’s chief financial officer.
A longtime senior level finance executive and operations professional with 30 years of financial experience in many industries, Cadematori previously spent 13 years at NRT LLC, a division of Realogy Holdings Corporation, most recently as regional vice president and CFO for the Eastern Seaboard region.
A proven expert in the financial industry,he has been treasurer for the United Givers of Packanack Lake for eight years and is a certified public accountant.
He received his degree in accounting from St. Michael’s College.

Weichert, Realtors announced that Christopher Anthony has been promoted to regional vice president of its sales offices in Monmouth and Ocean counties.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the management and growth of 15 Weichert sales offices.
Anthony brings more than 17 years of real estate experience to his new role, along with his 14 years of dedicated service to Weichert, Realtors.
In addition to holding a real estate broker’s license, he earned the National Association of REALTORS’ Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist (RSPS) certification.
He received his degree in communications from Niagara University.

Mirador Real Estate has hired a new Leasing Manager.

CHRISTINE HENRIQUEZ

Christine DeFrancesco Henriquez joins the firm as a Leasing Manager for Midtown East. She will provide managerial direction for the agents and on-site operations for Mirador’s Pan Am exclusive on 39th Street, New York Tower.
Henriquez joins the firm with 15 years of experience in real estate. Previously, she worked on-site leasing and sales management positions at Rose Associates, Manhattan Skyline and GID/Windsor Properties.
Two new agents also joined the ranks; Rafal Zbrzezny, an agent with nine years of experience who previously worked at Keller Williams and BOND New York, and Kireolos ‘Kiro’ Zakhary, who, following 14 years in hospitality, joined Mirador from Platinum Properties.

SDF Capital LLC announced the expansion of its team, with the hiring of an Acquisition Specialist and an Operations Manager, both working out of its Mamaroneck headquarters.
As Operations Manager, Kayla Fecik is responsible for the daily financial and construction management.
A Licensed Salesperson with an undergraduate degree in theater design and technology, Fecik worked in theater and events management and for a cruise line, before moving into the real estate industry.
She worked with Keller Williams Realty prior to joining SDF Capital.
As an Acquisition Specialist, Sean Jadidian finds new investment properties for SDF Capital to acquire.

DJK announced the recent addition of three newly licensed real estate professionals — Kate Ishii, Nicholas Sakai and Alison Hoornbeek.
Both Ishii and Sakai will specialize in residential sales, while Hoornbeek will concentrate on the firm’s growing commercial division.
Kate Ishii joins DJK with extensive experience as a real estate salesperson, previously working at a variety of reputable real estate firms in New York City, including Keller Williams NYC, Coldwell Banker Real Estate, and most recently, at Bond New York.
Nicholas Sakai has 12 years of experience as a real estate salesperson. He most recently worked at Oxford Property Group and has established himself as a successful dual agent, representing both landlords and tenants.
Specializing in commercial real estate, Alison Hoornbeek brings over 11 years of experience to DJK.
Having previously worked at Barclay’s International Real Estate and Brooklyn Heights Vicinity Real Estate, she has extensive experience of commercial investment properties in the New York metropolitan area.

Homes By Mara Realty has welcomed Rasna Chadha as a licensed salesperson.
Chadha joins the firm from Douglas Elliman where she worked in the East Norwich office.

RASNA CHADHA

Prior to Douglas Elliman, Chadha worked for her husband as a fashion designer of 22 years for his company, Cotton Candy, in the Fashion District in Manhattan.
She was responsible for designing garments as well as production and merchandising with such retailers as Saks and Bloomingdale’s.
Chada holds Residential Interior Design Certification and Business Marketing Certification from Metropolitan Institute of Design (MID).
Beyond English, Chadha speaks Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu.

Citi Habitats has welcomed Shane Kramer to the newly-created position of Director of Agent Business Development.
Kramer helps Citi Habitats agents leverage their existing business relationships and develop new ones. He provides counsel on using technology and social media and acts as a mentor, teaching strategies that help agents thrive in the competitive real estate industry.
Kramer also offers continuing education seminars as well as one-on-one coaching. He works alongside Director of Agent Education, Zulla Getahun, at the firm’s Agent Studio at 30 Irving Place.
Kramer has been involved in the residential real estate industry since 2002, and has worked both as an agent and in managerial roles at several firms.
As a former principal of a real estate technology company – as well as his own brokerage – he has beneficial experience as an entrepreneur.
Prior to embarking on a career in real estate, Kramer worked in the entertainment, restaurant and construction industries. he has lived in San Francisco, Los Angeles and Park City, UT.
