WHO’S NEWS: Kevin Wong joins Citi Habitats; Fox Residential welcomes new specialist

Citi Habitats has welcomed licensed real estate professional and certified public accountant (CPA) Kevin Wong to the firm.

Formerly associated with DSA Realty (now City Connections), he was that company’s top-producing sales agent for 2013, 2014 and 2016.
In just over four years in the business, he has completed over $25 million in rental and sales transactions. At Citi Habitats, Wong will work out of the firm’s 387 Park Avenue South location.
A native New Yorker, Wong earned a BBA in Accounting from Pace University. Prior to embarking on his real estate career, he worked as senior auditor and CPA for “Big 4” accounting firm, KPMG.
He is a REBNY Certified Negotiations Expert (CNE) and an avid runner who has completed in both the New York City Marathon and Triathlon. In addition, he serves on his building’s co-op board.

Fox Residential Group has welcomed Charles Van Scyoc. He will specialize in sales and rentals of townhouses and apartments throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Van Scyoc will also assist Barbara Fox, founder and president, with Fox Residential’s largest transactions as well as the development of firm-wide client engagement strategies.
Prior to joining Fox Residential, Van Scyoc led the international fundraising efforts at Columbia University’s Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Sciences.
He has also worked in the development offices of NYU Stern School of Business and University of Chicago. He holds a master’s degree from NYU Wagner School of Public Service.

Homes By Mara Realty has welcomed Frank and Marilyn Urso, as its newest licensed real estate associate brokers.
The Urso’s come to Homes By Mara with experience specializing in Long Island’s residential home market, particularly within the Syosset area.

They were the owners of Long Island Village Realty, Inc., for over 20 years. Recently they were associate brokers for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate | Atlantic Shores in Syosset and Huntington before deciding to join Homes by Mara Realty in order to return to the Syosset downtown area where they have focused their service and business for over 25 years.
The Urso’s have both been REALTORS for more than half of their adult life. In his previous career, Frank was in upper management for UPS on Long Island and Marilyn worked in the computer field.
Both Frank and Marilyn Urso have earned numerous Realtor Certifications and Designations and served for many years as Directors for Long Island Board of Realtors (LIBOR), New York State Association of Realtors (NYSAR), and the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
Frank was president of the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island in 2009. Both Frank and Marilyn Urso have earned the NYS REALTOR Honor Society designation during their careers.
The Urso’s have been together as a couple for 55 years and are married nearly 48 years. They have been working together in the real estate field since 1989.

Charles Rutenberg Realty of Plainview, NY, began the New Year with the addition of 12 new agents.
The new agents, all licensed real estate salespeople, are as follows:
Eartha Hinds, formerly with Weichert; Garth Muirhead, formerly with Exit Realty Premier; Jordan E. Laufer, formerly with Signature Premier Properties.
Also joining the firm are: Litsie Rodriguez formerly with National Home Sellers, Inc.; Jaime Zarama, formerly with Connections Realty; Viktoriya Pagi, formerly with Century 21 – Benjamin Realty.
Newly licensed agents who joined the firm are: Anastasia Ignateva, Serena Mapson, Guy Maxis and Feroz Khan.
Laura Yitzu Chen, who is licensed in Manhattan through Mont Sky Real Estate, joined the Agency on a dual license with the Charles Rutenberg Realty Plainview Office.
Licensed Real Estate Salesperson Adolph T. Littlejohn, formerly with Island Advantage Realty, has joined the Hauppauge office.

Led by Antonio del Rosario and Brett Ari Fischer, the TOWN Flatiron team welcomed David Anthony, Jason Brown and Rebecca Roble. With a track record that includes working for some of the world’s top fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton and Gucci, David Anthony has honed skills necessary to successfully navigate the New York City real estate market.
Jason Brown previously owned and sold his own real estate firm, and built his own capital investment organization.
Rebecca Roble spent nearly a decade as a successful sales executive in both the non-profit and private sectors before bringing her expertise to the world of New York City real estate.
The team also includes members Alyssa Amato, Dmitry Yakhnis, Mitchell Glixon, Juan Lozano and Sara Kim.
