Awards Reception
Jan. 18: AmTrust Title Insurance Company will host a cocktail reception at REBNY’s 122nd Annual Banquet being held at the New York Hilton Hotel in Midtown. Beginning at 6pm, the event will be co-hosted by Steven Napolitano, senior executive vice president of AmTrust Title and president of the Direct Title Division, and Jason Gordon, president.

Make A Wish Real Estate Committee of New York raised $165,000 at its Annual Holiday Event held at the 237 Park Avenue event space. Make-A-Wish Metro New York calls on the Real Estate Council whenever a construction-related wish comes up, which was just the case last summer when a teen artist living with autoimmune polyglandular syndrome wished transform his bedroom into a cool space where he could create art, play video games and hang out with friends. Led by Structure Tone and Eric DeSimone of Savanna Funds, the Real Estate Council went to work, replacing the carpet with new wood flooring, adding new lighting, furniture and a flat screen TV. Other firms which contributed to the project included Newport Painting, Consolidated Carpet, Evenson Best and Knight Electric.

REBNY Banquet
Jan. 18: The Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) will honor distinguished leaders for their outstanding professional success and exceptional contributions to the real estate industry at REBNY’s 122nd Annual Banquet to be held at the New York Hilton in Midtown Manhattan. The industry will celebrate Rob Speyer’s achievements upon conclusion of five-year term as REBNY Chair. U.S. Senator Charles Schumer will receive top public service recognition.
