WHO’S NEWS: Residential appointments and promotions

Douglas Elliman has welcomed Stuart Edelman to the Avigdor | Peyton Team in Southampton.

Prior to joining Elliman, Edelman worked in the garment business for 49 years developing leading men’s apparel brands.

Additionally, the former president of Edstuart Inc. established Bedford Vintage Motorcars. He is looking forward to using his decades of top-level professional experience in real estate.

Edelman recently accepted the position of Commissioner of the Orient-East Marion Park District.

Bold New York has appointed Sarah Patton as its new Director of Development.

Patton will work in tandem with Bold’s leadership team to bolster relationships with the firm’s portfolio of strategic partners, and will actively pursue new sales, rental and development relationships.

Prior to this position, Patton spent almost five years at Douglas Elliman Development Marketing in multiple leadership positions. Before Elliman, she was a project manager with Citi Habitats New Developments where over seven years she helped grow their business across the board.

Keller Williams Tribeca has recently hired two new agents, oth with ten years of real estate experience.

Earle Conway comes to Keller Williams Tribeca from Mark David & Co. He has been involved in residential rentals and sales in NYC for the past decade. Before that, he was a project manager.

Cheryl Dixon, a licensed real estate salesperson, joins the firm from Charles Rutenberg.

Originally from the South Bronx, Dixon has lived in Hamilton Heights since 1975.

She is known for selling mostly townhouses, co ops, condos and HDFC properties. She also has 30 years of experience working for the Federal Government.

Sotheby’s International Realty, Inc. announced that Danielle Rivoir has joined the Sample-Powers Team with SIR’s East Side Manhattan Brokerage.

A driving force in both international and New York City real estate markets, Rivoir represents a significant cross-section of Fortune 500 clientele and international dignitaries.

Selling some of the most exclusive co-ops and condominiums in Manhattan, Rivoir works with clients ranging from the royal Saudi family to the top one percent of the world’s leaders.

Prior to her career in real estate, Rivoir gained branding exposure from her role as Marketing Director for a major Swiss watch corporation.

She is a graduate of American University in Washington, D.C. where she studied International Business and Communication and is fluent in French, German and Italian.

Douglas Elliman Real Estate announced that David Menendez, ranked one of New York City’s top producing agents, has joined the firm.

Menendez has sold and leased many types of property throughout Manhattan and multiple Brooklyn neighborhoods, from classic, prewar co-ops to true lofts, townhouses, mixed-use properties and new condominium construction.

He will work out of Elliman’s newly-renovated downtown office at 26 West 17th Street, managed by Chris Peters.

Menendez was most recently with Corcoran, and has worked with first-time buyers, experienced real estate investors, and out-of-area sellers with consistently successful results.

He has professional experience in marketing, technology and adventure travel,.

He is originally from Illinois and lived in Texas, Idaho and Montana before moving to New York City in 2000. He is an alumnus of Rice University.

Bill Gamelli has been named Executive Vice President of Customer Acquisition and Product Innovation at William Raveis Real Estate, Mortgage & Insurance.

A 30-year-veteran of the Shelton, Connecticut-based company, he previously served as interim Chief Operating Officer since January, 2015.

In his new roles, Gamelli will focus on generating leads for the company’s more than 4,000 agents through e-commerce, call centers and relocation networks, and developing and integrating new technology tools into the company’s existing Raveis365 platform, in order to serve both agents and Raveis customers.

At the same time, Jason Wilson, Vice President, Regional Director of Operations and Affiliate Companies, will become Vice President, User Experience, Career Development and Affiliate Companies, charged with revamping the company’s education program and gathering feedback from agents on new technology and services.

Two focal points of Gamelli’s energies will be Raveis call centers, where the company has built a hybrid model around both in-bound and out-bound calls, and the application of predictive analytics and scoring to target customers most likely to buy or sell a home.

Bohemia Realty Group is expanding upon an already dynamic team-building program by appointing two of its top agents, Christine Amerosa and Corissa Nadrowski, as its newest “Ambassadors of Fun.”

In their latest roles, Amerosa and Nadrowski will officially spearhead programs that promote networking, sportsmanship and camaraderie.

Their first endeavor as “ambassadors of fun” has been the organization of historical walking tours in Harlem.

Bohemia Realty Group has long been known for sponsoring team-oriented and health-based initiatives,.

With the most recent iteration of the “Ambassadors of Fun” initiative, there are plans for a Halloween costume contest as well an office-wide talent show since many of the firm’s agents are involved in the arts.

Amreosa and Nadrowski also recently organized a brokerage-wide donation drive for Puerto Rico hurricane victims.
