RESIDENTIAL WHOS NEWS: Jeannie Woodbrey lands Hudson yards gig; New RE/MAX New York manager

Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group and Related Sales announced the appointment of industry veteran Jeannie Woodbrey as Senior Sales Director at 15 Hudson Yards, joining new development expert Sherry Tobak, Senior Vice President of Related Sales, for the assignment.

Together the team brings nearly 50 years of experience to lead sales of the first residences at Hudson Yards.
In her more than 20 years of experience at Corcoran Sunshine, Woodbrey has sold over 1,000 new development units and $5 billion in closed deals at some of New York’s most prolific new developments, from Time Warner Center to 101 Warren Street to One57, where she facilitated the record-breaking sale of a $100 million penthouse.
Tobak is a seasoned new development sales expert with over 25 years of experience in the luxury condominium market.
In her role with Related Sales, she has worked directly with the New York development and design teams, lending expertise to the research, analyses and pricing of potential residential opportunities.
Tobak has led her teams to record sell-outs at the iconic One Central Park and Residences at Mandarin Oriental, The Veneto, The Harrison, The Brompton, Carnegie Park, Astor Place, Riverwalk Court and 225 Rector Place – with billions of dollars in aggregate sales.
15 Hudson Yards onsite sales team include Blanca Lopez, Connie Marois, Cathy Kim, Sebastian Steinau and Min Liu.

Charles Rutenberg announced the hiring of six real estate agents who are specialists in the New York City market.
Alexandra Chow is a licensed real estate salesperson who worked as a CPA for large corporations and opened her own company catering to small and startup businesses, providing accounting and consulting services. Chow joins Rutenberg from Goldmax Realty Inc.
Melissa Alamo is a licensed real estate salesperson who started working in real estate after being in the service sales industry for many years.
Carlos Nieto Jr. is a licensed real estate salesperson who has worked with local and international clients, supporting their personal and investment needs in rentals, building sales, condos and coops.
His previous work experience includes stints with Century 21, Lucent, AT&T, and IBM.
Hamzy Hidais is a licensed real estate salesperson who previously worked as a property manager in Brooklyn and Lower East Side. Hidais also worked in marketing and promotions for Wall Street Trading, Inc. Hidais joins Rutenberg from Citi Habitats.
Kristin Haid is a licensed real estate salesperson who previously worked in nonprofit marketing, and human resources for corporate real estate.
Haid joins Rutenberg from Keller Williams Realty.
Rachel Jones is a licensed real estate salesperson who worked as a marketing executive for PBS events, BET Awards, and the NAACP Image Awards.
Jones joins Rutenberg from Spire Group.

William Raveis Mortgage announced the promotion of Michael DeRosa to regional vice president of sales.

In his new role, DeRosa will be responsible for overseeing mortgage sales in New York.
DeRosa will be working primarily to manage, train, and recruit loan officers in New York, while continuing as a producing loan officer in Greenwich, Connecticut and Rye, New York.
DeRosa joined William Raveis in 2009. A top-producing loan officer with the firm, he is perennially ranked in the top one percent of the nation for volume.

Greenfield has also served as Chairman of the International Operations Committee of the National Association of Realtors (NAR).
Greenfield is the president liaison to the Netherlands Real Estate Association, a member of the Faculty of NAR and taught the designation course CIPS (Certified International Property Specialist) in locations worldwide.

Compass announced that Mary Lowe, one of its top Brooklyn agents, has been appointed Sales Manager of the company’s Williamsburg and new Cobble Hill locations.
Lowe will co-manage Brooklyn agents alongside Patrick Brennan who will oversee the firm’s Park Slope office.
An accomplished real estate specialist, Lowe brings more than a decade of experience in resales and new developments throughout Brooklyn.
Over the course of her career, she transacted more than $100 million in sales and is consistently ranked among the top five pcercent of brokers nationwide.

With 17 years of real estate experience, including 11 as a top-producer with Houlihan Lawrence in Armonk, Gordon has received multiple awards for excellence in sales.
Gordon is a graduate of Syracuse University. Prior to her real estate career, she was a buyer at Saks Fifth Avenue, where she honed her negotiating and analytical skills.

Barricelli first entered the residential arena as an agent with Century21 Prevete.
Prior to that, Barricelli worked in the accounting industry for 30 years, which included serving as an accountant for CPA firm Schultz and Sage and as a corporate controller for Pal Industries.
Barricelli, who has a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from Iona College, is capitalizing on his Town of Hempstead roots to broaden Homes By Mara’s service scope and reach.

His experience in real estate, both in New York and Los Angeles, brings a dynamic competitive advantage to DEDM.
Most recently Wachtfogel was Director of Research and Analytics at Corcoran Sunshine Marketing Group.
He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of the Pacific, where he was a Division I athlete, and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy Analysis from New York University.

Dottie Herman, the President and CEO of Douglas Elliman Real Estate, announced that Jason Walker, a real estate agent who has procured more than $1 billion in sales in his real estate career, is re-joining the firm.
Walker was a top-producing agent at Elliman for more than ten years.
He was initially recruited to real estate by Dottie Herman and within a year, earned the firm’s Rookie of the Year award.
Since then, his experience has grown to include representation of properties at some of New York City’s most élite residences, including homes at The Plaza, The Dakota and some of Downtown’s most prestigious addresses.
He is known for his work with high-net worth, high-profile clients, most recently including John Legend and Chrissy Teigen.
He rejoins Elliman after recent stints at both Compass and CORE.
Before he began his real estate career, Walker was in the marketing, design and retailing of luxury goods. Before that, he was involved with talent management.

RE/MAX, LLC, announced that Sandy Jamison has been promoted to Director, Region Development, for the global real estate franchisor’s New York Region.

Jamison previously worked with the region as a Franchise Development Consultant.
In her new role, Jamison is tasked with building relationships with the numerous brokers in the New York Region and as well as promote RE/MAX initiatives and goals.
She also will manage region market share and agent growth, renewals, execution of regional events, training sessions and meetings and be the liaison between the regional staff and Region Vice President, New York, Terri Bohannon.
Jamison began her RE/MAX career in 2011 after co-owning a fix-and-freeze meals franchise and working in franchise sales for a multi-franchise consulting company.
In her most recent role as Franchise Development Consultant for the New York Region, Jamison was the primary link between RE/MAX franchises in the state and RE/MAX World Headquarters in Denver.
RE/MAX announced in February 2016 that it had entered into an agreement to reacquire the Master Franchise for the state of New York.
Pierre Titley, owner of RE/MAX of New York since 1987, transferred ownership of the region but remains the owner of RE/MAX Quebec.
Currently, the region includes over 850 agents and nearly 60 independently owned and operated RE/MAX offices from Brooklyn to Buffalo.
