The couple had checked out units at 261 and 263 1st Street in Park Slope.
“They loved the layout there and the garden and the tree-lined streets. They were was so close to being perfect, but just a hair too small,” said Bromberg, a veteran agent with Corcoran,
“So, when we saw 265 1st come on the market, we jumped at the viewing. The open house was very busy, and I could hear people making offers on the spot. Having been on the market and looking for some time, they were prepared to be assertive with their offer, and went above ask. It paid off; the unit is now their home.”
The 1,186 s/f floor-through, three-bedroom, 2-bath unit had been listed by Kate Ackerly at Halstead for $1.5 million. The buyers offer $1.55 million and the deal closed within three weeks.
