Mathnasium to open at 93 Pineapple Walk in Brooklyn Heights

Brooklyn Heights is getting an International educational brand for supplemental mathematics learning geared towards children in grades K-12.

Mathnasium Learning Centers has signed a lease for a 1,500 square foot storefront at 93 Pineapple Walk in Brooklyn Heights. The property is part of the Whitman Cooperative, which owns a high-end residential building at 75 Henry Street. The location represents Mathnasium’s second location in Downtown Brooklyn.

Bosko Stankovic of Brooklyn’s Ingram & Hebron Realty represented the Tenant while David Grillo, building manager from Gumley Haft represented the Landlord.

“This location makes perfect sense for Mathnasium as its only few blocks away from the prestigious Brooklyn Heights PS 8 on Hicks and Poplar Streets. “We have been on the lookout for a location in that part of Brooklyn Heights for quite some time and are very excited to have found and negotiated a deal for a beautiful corner space in a great location that will attract both parents and kids in this area.” said Stankovic.

Since 2002, Mathnasium has been working on offering a customized math tutoring services, helping children K-12 develop math skills through homework and tutorials.

The franchise consists of over 700 locations internationally including North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. The franchise is Ranked #3 in the Forbes list of Best Franchises to Buy in 2016 with an average of two new openings per week.
