Law firm Roberts & Holland signs 27,000 s/f lease at 1675 Broadway

The Rudin Family announced that law firm Roberts & Holland LLP has signed a 15-year, 27,000 s/f lease at 1675 Broadway, a 35-story office tower in Midtown.

Roberts & Holland’s new lease, which extends until 2032, encompasses the entire 17th floor. The law firm will relocate from Worldwide Plaza in the third quarter of 2017.

“We’re thrilled to add Roberts & Holland to our prestigious tenant roster at 1675 Broadway, a top location in a dynamic neighborhood with excellent access to transportation and amenities,” said Bill Rudin, Co-Vice Chairman and CEO of Rudin Management Company, the operating arm of Rudin Family holdings.

“Midtown West’s office market has become increasingly more diverse over the last several years, and this transaction solidifies this area as a key destination with broad appeal to a wide variety of companies, from law, technology, media and beyond.”

Roberts & Holland was represented by Lewis Miller, Andrew Sussman, Brad Needleman and Ariel Ball of CBRE. Building ownership was represented by Robert Steinman, Vice President at Rudin Management Company. Asking rents were $75 per square foot.

The new lease for Roberts & Holland comes several months after the Rudins completed two other significant transactions at the property. Earlier in 2016, the Rudins completed a 24,195 square-foot lease financial services company Bankrate Inc. on the entire 22nd floor, and in 2015, ownership signed a 25,000 square-foot expansion for global advertising agency Publicis Groupe after finalizing a 580,000 square-foot renewal for the company.

According to Steinman, the Rudin Family is currently marketing 105,000 s/f on the 18th through 21st floors that are available for long-term lease.
