Have You Heard? Daddy Dunham displayed in Fifth Ave penthouse

Madison Equities has furnished The Crown Penthouse at 212 Fifth Avenue with nearly $2 million worth of furniture and art.

Developer Robert Gladstone revealed last week that his company partnered with Italian furniture superstars, Luxury Living, to create the Atelier Furniture Collection and install it in the 10,000 s/f penthouse.

Shanna Bender of Design Studio 15 arranged lights, rugs, armchairs and armoirs while Axiom Fine Arts curated an art collection worth $750,000, including works by Robert Rauchenberg and Carroll Dunham, actress Lena Dunhamʼs dad.

“The Atelier Furniture Collection represents a unique partnership for a truly unique residence,” said Gladstone, CEO of Madison Equities.

The penthouse’s 5,730 s/f of terraces has been decked out in signature pieces from Gandia Blasco’s collection of modern, outdoor furniture; the family dining room has a Bentley Home butterfly dining table and the third-floor observatory includes a Fendi Casa Myhome sectional sofa.

The penthouse is listed by Nikki Field of Sotheby’s International Realty for $73.8 million.

A NEW mansion has hit the market on Jerseyʼs own Millionaires Row.

Ross-Hand Mansion was built in 1854 for architect Azariah Ross, the man who designed the stone bridges in Central Park.

Described as a 5,000 s/f Gothic Revival property, it was later owned by William Henry Hand who converted a barn on the grounds into a lab where he often worked late with his boss, Thomas Edison, inventing a new battery with a 15-year life.

The current owners have created a grand modern home with smart home technology, a gym and wraparound veranda that looks out across four acres of private grounds and the Hudson River below.

The houseʼs official address is 122 S. Franklin Street, South Nyack, a town in the Hudson Valley where low profile celebs increasingly hang their hats.

Just last week, actress Scarlett Johansson bought a house in Snedens Landing, just south of Nyack on the Palisades, where her neighbors include Swedish songbird Bjork and actor Bill Murray.

Nyack itself counts U2 drummer Larry Mullen, Freaks & Geeks actor John Francis Daley and Rosie O’Donnell among its most famous residents.

Ross- Hand Mansion is now on the market for $1,852,500 with Donna Cox of the BHG Rand Realty-Nyack Office.
