MetroNorth in Graybar expansion

SL Green Realty Corp. announced that the Metro-North Commuter Railroad Company, a subsidiary of the Metropolitan Transit Authority, has signed an approximately 15-year, 17,756 s/f lease expansion at 420 Lexington Avenue, aka the Graybar Building.

This agreement increases Metro-North’s space in the building to 353,033 s/f.

“We’re delighted to expand our relationship with Metro North” said Steven Durels, Executive Vice President, Director of Leasing and Real Property for SL Green.

“Graybar’s convenient location and abundant neighborhood amenities appeal to tenants resulting in building occupancy which is consistently 95% or greater. ”

Located directly above Grand Central Terminal at the intersection of Lexington Avenue and 43rd Street, the Graybar Building is a 31-story, 1.5 million-square-foot landmarked Art Deco office tower.
