French-Asian bakery takes bow in K-Town

Adams & Co. Real Estate brokered an 11,032 s/f new lease for New 32 America, on the 32nd Street side at 34 West 33rd Street in the heart of New York’s K-Town.
David Levy and Brett Maslin of Adams & Co. represented the tenant and the landlord, Arcade Building Associates.

New 32 America will utilize two separate store front spaces, and connecting basement space as a new cosmetics shop and a renewal of the already existing Tous Les Jours bakery.

Although the details of the transaction were not disclosed, asking rent was $300 per square-foot, for the 15 year lease.

“The first class bakery, Tous Les Jours has experienced great success at this location and we believe a cosmetics shop will effortlessly compliment the already booming retail area,” said David Levy, principal of Adams & Co.
“New 32 America carefully selected these retailers to appeal to the prevalent K-Town neighborhood.”

Tous Les Jours is a first class French-Asian bakery, which uses high end ingredients from South Korea to create unique bread, sandwiches, cakes and drinks.
The second space will be occupied by an undisclosed cosmetics store for the sale of beauty products.

Built in 1908, this 12-story, 158,200 s/f building has 24/7 infrared key access, new elevators, hallways and windows, and it is located just steps away from Herald Square.
