DONE DEALS: Roundup of this week’s residential sales

Citi Habitats agent John Farrell was recently tasked with helping a South Florida-based energy executive find his elusive New York dream home.
“My client had two key requirements; That the home be a great value with appreciation potential, and the property had to have an iconic New York City feel.

“Since this is his first time living in New York, he wanted his home to be a constant reminder that he is far from Florida – and here in one of the greatest cities in the world,ˮ Farrell explained.
Farrell after three properties missed the wow factor the buyer was looking for, Farrell took him to tour unit #27C at 400 Park Avenue South. The three-bedroom, three-bath condo in the Christian de Portzamparc-designed prismatic shaped building with resort-like amenities was listed for $5,279,000.
“Not only was the place spectacular, it had floor-to-ceiling windows with extraordinary views, including a crystal-clear shot of the Empire State building,” Farrell said. “It was everything he imagined his New York home to be.”
The home closed for $5.2 million. Tamir Shemesh of The Corcoran Group represented the seller.
