When Becki Danchik’s Upper West Side listing fell flat in the spring, she encouraged her sellers to take it off the market.
“Five months later, it was a whole different market and we had multiple offers,ˮ said the Rutenberg agent.
“With selling any property, timing is a factor and so is finding a qualified buyer,ˮ added Danchik. “There were several people who saw the apartment in the spring but were not ready to take action. They kept their eyes on the apartment and, by the fall, there was a stampede as well as a fresh pool of buyers.ˮ

“The majority of people who viewed the apartment were already living on the Upper West Side who knew exactly what they wanted and they had to act quickly given the recent sales history in the neighborhood,ˮ said Danchik.
